The majority of bachelors, me being one of them, are stuck to the same old bachelor lifestyle that is characterized majorly by very minimal cooking. This is because if you’re lucky, you would have found your way around making two dishes that you will constantly keep repeating. Bachelors tend to prefer foods such as eggs, noodles and rice. Foods that require no expertise and very little effort to prepare them for consumption. Over time this becomes very monotonous. There was little you could do to add some variety in the kitchen before, but not anymore.
There is a lot of information available online in recent times. Information such as simple recipes that can give new life to the old bachelor life. A good example would be those made available by Fefe Lehobye on her blog: munchiesandlife.wordpress.com which are very simple to follow. She even lists all the ingredients for you. Simple meals such as Spicy Mac and Boeri. She explains:
“I browned the wors, cut it up into pieces, added chopped onions, peppers and bacon. When all was done, I added chutney and mixed it together. I then made macaroni and mixed it with the wors. Topped it with a diced cucumber, carrot and chilli salsa and feta cheese.”
Its that simple.
